By the time a pregnant mother reaches full term in carrying her child, she is very ready for delivery. As each day passes beyond the due date, her desire to deliver the child continues to grow. It is at this point that her desire to find ways of naturally inducing labor grows equally as much.

Acupressure is employed by some expectant mothers. This method operates under the premises that applying pressure or massage to certain areas of the body will cause the start of labor contractions.
